I-Form Contributed to the Report on Digitalisation of the Food and Drink Industry in Ireland

I-Form, the Research Ireland Centre for Advanced Manufacturing, was honoured to contribute to a major new research report on the digitalisation of Ireland’s food and drink industry, launched last week by Minister James Lawless, Minister of State at the Department of Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science.
The report, a collaboration between I-Form, CeADAR, Ireland’s Centre for Applied AI, and Skillnet Ireland, was officially launched at Dawn Farms in Naas. We were proud to welcome Minister Lawless and our research partners to mark this milestone in advancing innovation in one of Ireland’s most vital industries.
The joint report explores the current state of digital adoption across Ireland’s food and drink sector, identifies emerging trends, and outlines the key skills required to support its ongoing transformation. It also offers clear, actionable recommendations to help companies and policymakers harness the power of digital technologies, such as Artificial Intelligence and Advanced Manufacturing across the food production value chain.
We extend our thanks to Skillnet Ireland for funding this important research, and to all participants who contributed their time and insights.
