I-Form was delighted to take part in this year’s Dublin Maker as both a sponsor and exhibitor, bringing advanced manufacturing and 3D printing to the heart of this vibrant community celebration of creativity and innovation.
Over the weekend of 30-31 August, Leopardstown Racecourse transformed into a carnival of ideas, where inventors, makers, engineers, artists, students, and hobbyists of all ages came together to showcase their creations. Dublin Maker’s unique “show and tell” atmosphere offered the perfect opportunity for I-Form to highlight some of our cutting-edge projects and give visitors a glimpse into the exciting future of advanced manufacturing.
Our stand featured live demonstrations and displays of 3D printing technologies, sparking curiosity and inspiring young innovators to explore the possibilities of STEM. It was a joy to see so many visitors engage with our team, ask questions, and share their own ideas about technology and design.
Dublin Maker is much more than an exhibition, it is a family-friendly celebration of invention, creativity, and resourcefulness, and a hub for Ireland’s maker community. The event’s mission to entertain, inform, and inspire the next generation of makers strongly resonates with I-Form’s vision of shaping the future of manufacturing through research, innovation, and collaboration.
We’d like to extend a big thank you to the organisers, volunteers, and fellow makers who helped make the weekend such a success. Events like Dublin Maker play an invaluable role in connecting communities, showcasing talent, and encouraging future innovators to imagine what’s possible.
We’re already looking forward to next year’s edition!
