Wenxin Wang

Professor Wang is a Full Professor in the School of Medicine at UCD. His scientific interests are in the areas of biomaterials, bioengineering and tissue engineering. Professor Wang will take on a role as a funded investigator in I-Form Phase 2 Spoke 3: Process Optimisation and Control. His research will focus on I-Form’s strategic seed area of biopharma processing, leveraging and applying digital tools from the Platform research. This will include process characterization, optimization and control of lyophilization processes, as laid out in the I-Form research programme. Digital twin and multi-physics modelling will be critical aspects of the research.
