Carolyn joined the I-Form team in June 2024 as Business Development Manager. In this role, Carolyn supports engagement between industry partners and I-Form’s academic researchers through targeted collaborative research projects and the commercialisation of I- Form’s research, through licensing and the development of spin-out companies. Prior to this, Carolyn was a technology transfer manager at Dublin City University, where she gained extensive experience of knowledge transfer and commercialisation, managing a portfolio including advanced manufacturing, engineering and physical sciences. Before working at the academic / industry interface, Carolyn held a number of commercial and business development roles with BOC Edwards, a multinational engineering company that manufactures equipment for the semiconductor and scientific industries.
