Our Partners
I-Form is a Science Foundation Ireland (SFI) Research Centre, funded to link scientists and engineers, bringing critical mass to the area of advanced manufacturing, specifically in the area of digital technologies and materials processing. I-Form brings together a nationwide pool of expertise in materials science, engineering, data analytics and cognitive computing focussed on increasing the competitiveness of Irish manufacturing on the world stage. Our core funding was awarded competitively to the Centre in 2017 by SFI in partnership with the European Regional Development Fund. Our industry collaborators, partner with us on projects of direct interest to them, co-funding the research and working closely with the research teams to ensure that results are relevant, applicable and impactful. I-Form brings together colleagues across five universities and 2 Institutes of Technology, in partnership with industry, creating a community of expertise where ideas, challenges and opportunities are shared.
