We're looking for the brightest maths, science and engineering graduates to join the Centre for Doctoral Training in Metallurgical Challenges for the Digital Manufacturing Environment from September 2019.
The Centre for Doctoral Training (CDT) brings together a group of PhD students from diverse backgrounds to tackle today's evolving issues and future challenges in an exciting environment, linked with industry and supporting broad skills development in areas such as responsible innovation, leadership, science in the media and industrial training.
Being part of this innovative training network means:
Cohort based training across four academic sites with PhDs working side-by-side on industry relevant projects
Time embedded with industry partners
Graduating with a broad set of professional leadership skills alongside your doctoral research
The four universities involved are: University College Dublin, Dublin City University, University of Sheffield and University of Manchester.
